Daukherville is a site devoted to writing in general and horror fiction writing in particular.

This site is run by me, Kristopher Kelly, a digital librarian and writer living in New York City. I grew up in Lincoln, Maine and am the author of the short story collections, I Held My Breath as Long as I Could and 3×6, as well as a novella, Abraham Road. I’m currently at work on two novels: Ed at Eleven, a dark romance, and Daukherville, an epic ghost story.

Hi Kristopher. Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting on my recent rejection experience 🙂 I thought it was pretty cool that Brian Freeman from Cemetery Dance replied to the blog … I’ve been looking around your blog and like it. Looks like I have to use RSS to subscribe, so I guess I’ll have to find a decent RSS reader for my mac that doesn’t use Google Reader.

Oh wait … I just saw that I can subscribe to new posts via email. It’s right there below this comment box 🙂 Looking forward to reading more of your blog.

  2. Yeah, Brian Freeman is amazing with responses, I’ve found. I really like the guy. CD is a great magazine, and a great company. I buy so many of their books and love them all.

I hope you keep submitting places, and I hope you find great success, not too much farther down the road.

I realized I didn’t have an easy way to subscribe to the site as a whole, so I added one today. Thanks for pointing out the omission — and thanks for visiting my blog.
